Concordia Stingers win first U Sports women’s field hockey title in two decades

This Sunday, the Concordia Stingers women’s varsity field hockey team celebrated big at MacLauchlan Arena in Charlottetown, P.E.I., winning as national champions. The last time the field hockey team experienced a similar big win like this was in 1999. 

Concordia Stingers defeated rival team Nipissing in the U Sports final with a score of 4-0. On the other hand, the Saskatchewan Huskies took third place by defeating the University of New Brunswick Reds with a score of 2-0.
