Alpine Canada appoints American Karin Harjo as coach of Canada’s feminist alpine ski team, breaking the gender barrier by becoming the first woman in history to take the reins of a World Cup team.

Although the Canadian women’s ski team failed to reach its promised goals at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, Harjo’s experience brings great expectations for the Canadian team for the upcoming season. Harjo has already had experience working with top athletes such as Olympic champions Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin.
