On Sunday, Canada’s Kerri Einarson secured bronze at the women’s world curling championship, beating Sweden’s Anna Hasselborg 8-7. Although Einarson had set her and her team’s sights on first place, she calmly expressed her pride and happiness at having won the bronze medal for her country, as Canada has long been unable to win a medal at the world championships. On the other hand, Switzerland’s Silvana Tirinzoni won her third consecutive world title by winning the gold medal over her opponent, South Korea’s EunJung Kim, who came in second place.
